The Treasury was a collaboration 10 years in the making between duo Amy and Eric Sargeant. They met in Portland OR when Amy asked Eric to present to her class at the Art Institute. Since then, they’ve continued to grow their own skills and education experience teaching college-level courses at local institutions as well as independent workshops.

About Amy:

The brainchild of the Treasury and a Portland, OR Native, Amy studied ceramics in undergrad at Oregon College of Arts & Crafts and received her MFA from Central Saint Martins in London. Since then she’s taught university-level art and education classes – most recently at Cal State Fullerton and Chapman University.  After over 12 years of teaching college students, Amy is excited to work in a more intimate setting and using art to build community here in Southern CA.
